Explore the rich history and culture of Russia through an introduction to the Russian language, culture , literature and art. Youth can begin learning the Russian language naturally through a conversational approach. Camp activities include exposure and fun with the Cyrillic alphabet, Russian history, Russian literature, including that of Anton Chekov (Russian playwright and short-story writer), and Russian folk art. Students will go home with a piece of Russian-influenced art at the conclusion of camp. A book on the study of the Russian language and the works of Anton Chekov are included in this camp.
