The UAS (drone) Pilot Training Program at Tulsa Community College provides formalized pilot and compliance training for drone operations in the U.S. National Airspace System. This course will provide an in-depth understanding of the complex and evolving Federal Aviation Administration Part 107 rules and regulations.
Drone activity is expected to grow rapidly in the business sector over the next few years. Professional UAS services for photography, housing, oil and gas, news stations, surveying, agriculture, sports, cinematography, and law enforcement are just a few of the ever-expanding professions and career opportunities developing at a brisk pace.
Students must be 16 years or older to register.
Important: This course does not include drones; therefore, students are to bring their own. Also, the FAA Part 107 Test is available at the airport site after successful class completion. Testing fees are not included with class registration.
